KARATA'S LATEST INNOVATION
KARATA'S INVISIBLE ELECTRIC START motor plate for Baker's Big Dog DSSC transmission. This motor plate is specifically designed to work with 250 and 300 tires. The KARATA INTIMIDATOR SERIES motor plate for the 250 tire has a 0.500" offset machined into the plate. This plate is available as a Right Side drive application only.
BILLET, ONE-PIECE OFFSET MOTOR PLATES
KARATA’S offset INTIMIDATOR SERIES motor plates are unique. For starters, every offset motor plate is machined from ONE solid piece of aluminum with the specific offset machined into the plate. This creates a motor plate of superior strength because the entire plate is one piece, not a collage of pieces bolted together using a separate primary spacer. If strength and accurate alignment matter then KARATA INTIMIDATOR SERIES belt drives and motor plates are the only choice.
Running a wide tire? The INTIMIDATOR SERIES motor plates for Softail models are available with zero offset all the way up to a massive 2-inch offset machined into the plate. No flimsy primary spacers needed with INTIMIDATOR solid billet plates. For Twin Cam Softails using Paul Yaffe Originals 45mm offset kit or Performance Machine’s 1-inch offset kits KARATA has special INTIMIDATOR SERIES motor plates specifically for these kits. Even FXR and Dyna models can run wider rear tires when using INTIMIDATOR SERIES offset motor plates.

RIGHT-SIDE DRIVE MOTOR PLATES
Another unique KARATA innovation is the dedicated Right-Side Drive INTIMIDATOR SERIES motor plate. Instead of simply using the conventional Left-side drive motor plates to suit an RSD application, KARATA machines special RSD motor plates. This attention to detail is what sets KARATA apart from the rest. SPECIALTY MOTOR PLATES:

For Road King/FLT models, a dedicated motor plate was created to allow use of the OEM foot controls. Offset Dyna and FXR motor plates ensure that these popular models can run larger rear tires, and for Twin Cam models, the massive INTIMIDATOR SERIES motor plates for PYO and PM offset kits are unrivaled in design or quality. In addition, we have designed and now produce INTIMIDATOR SERIES belt drives that allow a Shovelhead 4-speed motorcycle to accept a 1990-1999 Softail 5-speed transmission. In fact, our 5 speed conversions are available for Panheads and Knuckleheads as well.
